Its never made clear, it appears that at the end he thanks her for teaching him what heart is, which could be him inderectly telling her he likes her, but its too vague to really garuntee exacty what he ment by that. And though orihime's behaviour around ulquiorra could hint to her liking him, its not likely because right before she was kidnapped she made it obvious that she had extreme feelings for ichigo. Therefore, no one really knows besides the creator himself.

A better indicator for Ulquiorra's feelings is his poem "Because of the heart, I lust for everything about you". Clearly, he had very strong feelings for Orihime and was unwilling to part with her when Ichigo busted in.

It's a little more complicated than that. Ulquiorra was fascinated by her and her human emotions. The more he got to know her, the more confused he's become. He acted completely out of character when he was around her and couldn't seem to shut up. At the end, he really wanted to keep her with him. The whole fight with Ichigo was about her. And finally, he found his heart in her hand. I am not going to say that he "loved" her, because it is too soon. But he definitely felt for her one way or another and did not want to give her up. I am not sure what Orihime felt towards him, granted she still likes Kurosaki-kun. Yet, he did effect her in a positive light where she became more resolved and stronger by associating with him. Perhaps she did develop something for him too, yet I am not sure unless I see her reaction to his assumed death.

Okay, okay now....answer above me....where did you hear or see that!? Ulquiorra was never fasinated by her. Aizen simply gave an order to keep her under lock and key. Ulquiorra was never out of character, all he did was threaten orahime and scare her. The fight between ichigo and ulquiorra was not fighting OVER her in the way most people would think. Orihime's kindness and "compassion" do not extend beyond Ulquiorra. She has never shown it to anyone else in the HM arc. Neither to Grimmjow or Tesla or Nnoitra. This compassion wagon is null. Ulquiorra's loyalty to Aizen was always questionable since he tended to contradict himself left and right when it had to do with Orihime. Nobody is saying that Orihime and Ulquiorra fell madly in love. But there was something between them that went beyond the relationship of a caretaker and his prisoner as Ulquiorra was never told to talk to her about hearts. That topic is almost exclusive to the two of them. Kubo drew panels and panels of them talking and staring at each other. And if Ulquiorra scared her, Orihime never showed it. On the contrary, she said that she was never afraid of him. And the hand-reach scene wasn't just Orihime's infinite compassion, otherwise it would've been shown anywhere. It was something else. Read beyond the power levels.
