Do you have to watch Gossip Girl in a order?

The books are sort of similar but also very-different to the tv series. They are alot better and give you more of an understanding of the characters, SO yes you should read them but there are some differences e.g Jenny has huge DD boobs that are always a problem for her in the book while in the TV show she doesn't.

Yes, it is best to watch Gossip Girl in an order as otherwise it is hard to keep track on what is happening in the series. I would advise watching every episode also.
