Well, Mr. or Ms. Question Asker, there is a question that I must ask you in response to your question, the latter of which lacks specificity. Do you mean to use the word "a" instead of "the"? In other words, are you attempting to refer to a specific movie or all movies in general?
For the time being I will disregard your stupidity and misuse of the English language in order to answer your botched question with an infinitely more coherent answer. I am sure that, in the entire history of the film industry, horses have indeed died during the filming of some movies. As to the frequency of film-induced horse deaths, though, I cannot speak to. (Although I suspect it is quite rare, as animal rights would surely prevent too many horse injuries and deaths from happening.) On the other hand, if you really mean to refer to "the movie," as opposed to "a movie," disregard the last sentences and answer me another question, this time a question that belongs to me; what movie are you referring to that may or may not involve horse deaths? Unfortunately, until you answer this question, I cannot grace you with a real response. Therefore, be quick! I eagerly await your response.
There is much speculation on the internet of people claiming anywhere from 1 to 5 horses were killed during the filming of this movie. Yet, there is no evidence that any were killed. The horses in this movie were ridden by professionals or actors trained by professionals. Also, during the credits of the film it states the assistance of not only "The Government of Victoria", but also "The Forest Commission of Victoria" which works for Forestry Regulation and Advisory or a Regulatory body for the purpose of providing continuous management of Victoria's wildlife and state forests. I also find it hard to believe that a film that is written the protect the brumby (wild horse) herds of Australia would kill or allow horses to be killed. Also, if you know anything about horses, a horse will NEVER do anything it doesn't want to do. If that horse didn't want to go down the mountain it wouldn't. Also, the actor Tom Burlinson did ride the horse down the mountain, and through it did actually "win" the title "The Man from Snowy River" for doing the ride for the film. If the horse had died or fallen, then no doubt Tom Burlinson would have been killed or severely injured as well and he wasn't. Lastly, one thing online I found was someone saying that if you look closely at the horse you can see the horse breathing when it's supposed to be "dead".
Yes apparently! During the 'flat spin' scene in which the character 'Goose' dies in the film, Art Scholl died during filming.
yes he died
Joey, (the horse) does not die at all in the movie or book, but the man who bought Joey from Albert's dad does die in war.
Jack Dolsen died, but Leonardo DiCaprio hasn't.

Nope! None of your horses can die.
No horses died on Flicka. Katy's mom helped Flicka recover while Katy was ill.Though if you are wondering 2 horses died on set of Flicka. During the filming of The WIld Horse Race is when one died. A extra on the set reported the death, soon to be fired by Fox. He said: "The horses were absolutley terrified and were running for their lives. In the process, the horse tripped on its own rope, and fell down and another horse kicked him in the head, and that horse was in a spasm and died a horrible death." The first horse took a 'misstep' that caused a very rare broken leg.for more information Google it
A horse will eventually die from wind sucking but would take a horses lifetime for them to die. A horse would die from wind sucking if it breaks its wind pipe.
