Pros and cons of Indian education system?
cons: The Indian education system mainly focuses on cramming and not on the concepts. Here the emphasis is more on getting good grades in the exams. Children are overburdened with theoretical knowledge with no trace of practical knowledge. As a result, when they are employed in firms requiring the use of practical knowledge, they are out of the race. Secondly, sexual education is also shown a back door in India. People are shy in talking about sex, discussing with their children or friends. Although many schools have started introducing sex education in their curriculum, still there is a long way to go when each and every child of India would be having a complete knowledge about sex. We here do not have the options of choosing the subjects we like unlike in USA. A child has to study a particular subject whether he likes it or not.
