And, in this particular case, unlike most areas of Latin America, most inhabitants are of European descent. As an example: there are many U.S., German, Swiss, Italian, families who have settled in Argentina decades ago... and their descendants mother tongue has changed. Are we to consider them Hispanic? As I understand it, ethnicity is more about race, not nationality alone.
