Yes, it will fit. I have 06'ex plastic on my 04. There is two tabs above your shock mounts that the plastic bolts to you may have to bend out 1/4'' or so. other than that have fun!!! OH and the key switch and neutral light have to be relocated as you probably already knew!! reverse switch hole is great for key switch. -my400ex89
