∙ 16y agoSounds like the carburetors could be clogged or dirty. When you give it gas, it is opening up and sucking more fuel in.. so if it sputters, that means there is a clog or dirty gas. You may also want to check the air filter and if you are mechanically inclined, try taking off the carb and soak it in gas to clean the debris out. Then put them back on after a few hours.

A malfunctioning battery can't provide enough power to your ignition system when the motor is idling can cause sputtering. If there is not enough gas, that can cause your vehicle to sputter. If the spark plugs fail to fire will also cause your vehicle to sputter.
Bad Jetting
Low deposition rate in sputter deposition can be attributed to factors such as low sputter yield of the target material, insufficient power or pressure to sustain sputtering, inefficient target utilization, or poor target-substrate geometry leading to inefficient material transfer. Increasing any of these factors can help improve the deposition rate in sputter deposition.
