there is a part in the engine that has a black twist cap on it, and when you open it it will have an oil dipstick so you can check if you need oil, and if you do, you just put it in there.
I have a V-star 650 from 98. It doesn't have a dipstick. There is a window right under the kickstand on the left side of the bike. if you can't see very much oil in the window fill her up.
Stand your bike upright. Get down and look where you put the oil in, then look even lower and you will sew a window the size of a half doallr coin. If the oil level is below 25% you need oil.
Charge your battery, Check your oil, clean your plugs and change your gas if you didn't put stabilizer in the tank
i think its 650 cc's. it also should say on the clutch covering by the oil cap. my manual says for an oil change is 21.98 oz.
650 cm3 which is equal to 650cc so if u have a oil cup for ur bike just put in 500cc then add another 150cc
yes the only difference is the ignitions
you take the spark plug wire off and get you a 13/16 wrench and the plug will be right underneath the gas tank, you can get to it better on the left side of the bike. The side were the clutch lever is.Just unscrew and put the new one in.
