First number is the weight, the higher the number the heavier the oil, viscosity. 10w is thinner than 20w oil and so on, requirements are set by manufacturer, and changed by user dependent upon usage. i.e. car specs asking for 10w-30 oil but you are in -30f weather, you may use 5w-30 until temps rise, or if you are pulling trailer and in very hot climate, you might change to a 20w-50 oil to keep the manufacturers viscosity rating then switch back before winter. The second number is the lubricating properties, a 10w-30 is a 10 weight oil with lubricating properties of a 30w oil, additives to give a wider temp range of usage. As a matter of opinion, I personally stay away from the 0w-xx or the 5w-xx synthetic oils and use 10w-40 full synthetic in my daily drivers. We have extreme cold here in winters, -30f - -45f and 10w and over petroleum based oils do not start very well. My Yamaha requires 20w-40 and I use the Yamalube oil. Whatever yo do, do not ride your air cooled bike in heavy traffic during summer months, get that baby out on the road to stay cool...
Different applications and engines require different weights of oil to operate properly and prevent engine wear. Therefore different weights of oil are produced.
Vanessa Hudgens weights about 117 pounds and Zac weights about 140 pounds they r pretty skinny!
the natural oils and moisture from whats called viscous adhesion
weights 20 through 40 shock oils
Washers, like most things, come in various sizes having various weights.
Yes, you can even mix it with conventional oil. Just make sure the weights are the same.
huh? whats up w/ your sohc 2.2
Three different types of viscosity weights of oil are single-grade, multi-grade, and high-performance synthetic oils. Single-grade oils have a fixed viscosity rating and are typically specified for use in specific temperature ranges. Multi-grade oils, such as 10W-30, offer a wider operating temperature range due to their ability to flow easily at low temperatures and maintain viscosity at high temperatures. High-performance synthetic oils provide superior protection and performance across a broader range of temperatures compared to conventional oils.
i think vitamins and oils help.they help to stop them from breaking,so they should help to grow back. and oils keep your fingernails moisturized. it seems reasonable to me.
