a bandit 600 takes 3300ml of 10W40 semi synthetic oil :) i hope this helps :)
The 1996 Suzuki Bandit motorcycle can use any 10W-30 motor oil. A heavier motor oil can be used in extreme climates.
It may depend on the year of your motorcycle. It may also depend on the engine size (600cc, 650cc, 1200cc, 1250cc) Here are the recommended amounts for a 2001-2002 Bandit 1200: NECESSARY AMOUNT OF ENGINE OIL Oil change: 3.3 L (3.5/2.9 US/Imp qt) Oil and filter change: 3.5 L (3.7/3.1 US/Imp qt) Engine overhaul: 4.6 L (4.9/4.0 US/Imp qt)
Under the bike on the left side is a 17mm nut.
10w-40 semi synthetic 4 stroke oil will do nicely! Just under 4 liters for an oil change.
The oil capacity for a 2.7 liter Suzuki is approximately 5 quarts. The recommended oil type id 5 W 30.
The oil drain plug is the 17mm nut at the bottom of the engine oil pan, underneath the bike. Approach it from the left side of the bike, so you don't have to maneuver around the exhaust pipe. Pay attention to the screw direction (it's upside down). Be careful not to strip the threads by over-tightening when you replace it.
521 ml SAE10. Or 97 mm level with compressed forkleg without spring.
From the service manual, the oil capacity is 3.3L (3.4 quarts) without filter change, 3.5L (3.6 qt) with filter change, and 4.6L (4.9 qt) for an engine overhaul. Recommended viscosity is 10W40. Frequency is to change the oil every 6000 km (4000 miles) and the filter every 18,000 km (11,000 miles). Semi-synthetic 10w40. Castrol suggests (Power 1 GPS 4T 10W-40) Capacity 3.5L
I have a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s with over 116k miles. Original clutch, have never had any engine work. Whenever I've checked the valves there have been only 2 or 3 that were .001 off. I change the oil every 2k miles and use MC oil. I ride year round in Northern Va.
Suzuki recommends conventional 10w-40, but I own 2 and always run Penzoil fully synthetic 10w-40 with wet clutch protection.
