The spark plug gap setting for a 2001 Suzuki RM 250 should be set at .024 inches. This is equal to about .6 mm.
.5-.6 mm .020-.024 in
0.35 but i prefer you gap it 0.40 if you wanna get the most power out of it
3 pubes width = Not 100% sure but it will run good gapped at 28
ngk br8eg
.028-.032 will work good.
If your plug is American made gap it at .28 but if you bought some K.G.B. plugs called NGK take them back for a full refund. Dont give them any support or you are just giving our worst enemy ammunition to shoot and kill us. I run Autolite plugs in my 96 RM 250.
It appears to be NGK r6918b-8. Doing a little searching I found the spark plug above listed as: "NGK special spark plug for (1996-2000) RM 125." This same spark plug is listed in the 2003 RM 125 Service Manual as the correct spark plug for that engine.
The spark plug for this bike is Ngk Br8es.
The NGK brand R6918B-8. It is an expensive spark plug at around $30. It was specially designed for the RM 125 and Suzuki does not recommend you use any other plug because you can damage your engine.
br9es
ive always had pretty good luck with either a br8es or br9es
