It's for good luck. A rider can only install the bell on their bike if it is a gift from another rider.
yes, though this is only recommended if the bike has been through its break-in period
No. They did work with Harley on the Revolution engine which is based on Harley's VR 1000 racing engine. The nature of their task was to help make the race-only engine work well in a street bike.
they made 450 rebel in 1986 and 1987 harley sued Honda over this bike because it looked so much like a harley
heritage classic or heritage softail classic is the same..only bike different is the heritage springer which has the springs on the front under headlamp
A Harley Davidson bike is an investment, so one will want to take good care of it and make sure to replace all parts with genuine replacements. The only way to be sure of purchasing genuine parts is to purchase them from a licensed Harley dealer.
A GSXR 1000 are quick they can reach up to almost 300km. Harelys can be quick it depends on what CC is the bike. But if I had to choose one it would have to be the GSXR because it is relativily lighter then the harley. Get the GSXR! The only way a Harley would ever beat any gsxr whether the 600, 750, 1000 or the 1340 Hyabusa would be to drop it from a plane. Which is the only use I have for a Harley other than a boat anchor!
A wide glide is not a touring bike. The only difference between a wide glide seat and other dynas of the same year is the length of the rear mounting tab. On many aftermarket seats the rear bracket is adjustable to any dyna.
it really depends on how long you've had it for. but generally it is for any bike. It would take me about 14-15 years to get that much and i drive everyday. I've had my bike for 6 months and I only have 4500 km on it.
on my 1990 FLHTCU they are behind the side panel on the left side of the bike-only one screw to remove to access. hope this helps
It adds fresh air, leaning out a rich mixture. Think of it as the opposite of a chock. Many riders use it every time they start a warm bike. Others only use it when they stalled or flooded their engine. Pull the lever as you kick and release it once the bike kicks over.
new riders are for motorcyles only
