They are a pain to get out. I stand mine up on the grab bar, take out the motor mount bolts then use a engine lift to pull the front end a little higher, so there is more room to get it out. You have to twist & turn the starter all different directions but it will squeeze out of there.
My starter was doing the same thing so I took it out & cleaned it real good & works like a champ now. Suzuki designed the front Engine mount to be removed for the Starter to be Serviced. It takes little to no time at all to do so.It appears the just the slightest extended of time with the starter engaged and the Brushes glaze over and therefore lack countinuity,I trimed down a piece of emery paper and rapped it around the commutators and reshaped the brushes and it worked perfect. The only draw back I see is that there isa no simple way to keep the brushes pinned back prior to installing the armature.
The best feature of the Suzuki LT80 is the strength of the machine. Though the Suzuki LT80 may appear to be small, people have found that it is able to easily lift and transport at least 190 pounds of weight.
There are 17 letters and numbers in the serial to the Suzuki LT80, it is considered a VIN number.
no theres not
you may do some damage you'd be better off getting another relay, they are cheap and easy to install
How can restrict a suzuki lt80 transport

You can't adjust the chain on an LT80. You can buy an aftermarket chain tensioner if you wish to do this. This is the only way.
