You can remove a rear wheel from your Husqvarna riding lawnmower by loosening and removing the lug nuts. The wheel should come off.
In order to learn how to remove the real wheel on a Cub Cadet riding mower one may want to look on the Cub Cadet forums for advice. For a more efficient fix, though it will cost more, taking it to a lawn mower repair shop might be best.
Fix it.
If you look under the fly wheel that is where most have them.
most of them are , one bolt and a snap ring holding the tire so you need some snap ring pliers
If you are removing a rear wheel from a riding mower with a square keyway, there is no need to remove the keyway. The tire and rim will slide off with it in place. The rim is slotted all the way through. After removing the wheel you can simply grab it with pliers if you need to remove it for some reason.
Remove the mower deck. Remove the phillips head screw at the end of the shaft underneath the mower. The releases your shaft from the bootom of mower. Remove steering wheel and remove shaft. Replace parts as needed.
Most Craftsman mower are held on by a clip. You will need to remove the black hubcap if it is still present. You can pry it off or use a pair of pliers to grab it and pull it off. Behind the hubcap is a "C" shaped clip which can be removed by inserting a screwdriver under the closed end and prying it away from the axle. Remove the washer and pull the wheel off. You're done. There is a keyway (a square piece of metal) that goes between the wheel and the axle that you need to keep and put it back in place when you are done. If it is not in place the mower will not move.
Remove yellow dust cover in the center of the wheel, remove snap ring, pull wheel off.
