Unlock the helmet lock so that the shackle falls loose. Stand behind the bike. With your right hand, pull the shackle towards you. With you left hand, feel around the same area on the left side of the seat and you'll find a 2" trigger. Pull the shackle and the trigger towards you while at the same time lifting up on the seat with your thumbs. Once the rear of the seat has cleared the locks, slide the seat up and back and it will separate from the bike.
This motorcycle has about 45-50 mpg.
This is given as 26 mm according to the information I have.
no they will not interchange, the front mounts are different
I have a 1982 Honda Nighthawk. If you remove the bolt in the front of the motor on the bottom the fins and bolt will drop down. You will then see the oil filter cartridge. It looks like an air filter but it is for oil. Change the cartridge and reinstall.
43HP
Shave the seat! I think you'll be able to lower it an inch or two. Plus you can use handmade lowering kits.
yes you can
the teletubbies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
An 82' nighthawk 450 takes 2.6 quarts of of sae 10w-40 SE or SF grade oil... Although I've heard from friends who ride say you should get motorcycle oil or Honda specified oil. The nighthawks have a "wet" clutch system and regular car oil will burn out your clutch.. that's from a ATV technician..
100 to 300 depends on condition
