No oil in crankcase in a Harley Big Twin. All FXR's take three quarts in the oil tank.
According to the factory service manual, all FXR models from 1984 through 1990 require 48 ounces of oil in the primary chaincase.
Harley Big Twins are dry sump engines, so there is little oil in the crankcase. Changing the oil in the oil tank is all that's necessary.
A 1987 Jeep Wrangler needs 6 quarts of oil of an oil change.
under the seat
The 4.0 1987 Jeep Wrangler needs 6 quarts of oil for an oil change.
24 ounces.
You must hand tighten the filter.

The Oil Filter is located under the bike just behind the transmission.
no one knows!!!!!!!!!!
You really should think about asking the Harley Dealer Maintenance guys why your baby is doing this. I know if my 90 FXR was they would be my first source of information. Good Luck This may happen if you haven't driven your FXR in a while or you overfill your oil. What happens is that the oil will collect at the bottem of your crankcase. What you need to do is, run you bike for a good 10-15 minutes before taking off or just ride more. This is common on the FXR's Evo engine, but it may be a different problem if it continues. You should have it checked by a professional.
