Yardman is made by MTD.
MTD manufacturing manufactures the Black Eagle lawnmowers. MTD manufacturing manufactures 70 percent of all lawnmowers in the United States of America.
These mowers are found in South Africa. As long as it mows I would not care though I would say that one of the biggies made it; as in MTD, AYP.
Most Sears Craftsman lawnmowers were made by American Yard Products which has become part of Husqvarna. Some were also made by MTD and Murray.
You do realize you can use any oil in your White lawnmower and do not have to purchase White oil. White does not even manufacture oil and their oil is made by someone else. In fact White does even manufacture lawnmowers. Their lawnmowers are made by MTD. Purchase any name brand oil in the correct weight for your mower as recommended by the engine manufacturer. I do highly recommend you use a synthetic oil for any air cooled engine.

They are made by Ryobi which was briefly bought by MTD and made trimmers with several of the MTD-owned brands. Now I believe it is still partially MTD-owned, but is a separate entity.
McCulloch chainsaws are still made in north America by Husqvarna Tool Corp.
