Please be more specific with your question.
Is it stalling at idle in neutral?
Or, is it stalling in 1st gear with the clutch pulled in?
Or, is it stalling while riding in no specific gear but at an appropriate rpm and torque for that gear?
In neutral:
It may be caused by lack of fuel getting into the cylinders. Check the Fuel pump (you can hear it clicking when you turn the key on if the bike has been sitting for a while), the carburetors (for cleanliness), check also the spark plugs (for carb buildup and replace if necessary). Another thing that you can check is the aircleaner to make sure the cylinders are getting proper air mixture.
Try running the motorcycle with the choke on half way to increase the fuel-air mixture. Does the bike run/sound better? Or, does it bog and smell extremely potent? With the bike running pull the throttle back to about 1/4 to 1/2 way. Listen for any pops (backfires) these could indicate too much fuel in the mixture or (worse case) water in the cylinder. Push the choke back in after the bike has warmed up. Listen to determine if the RPM's are too low. If this is the case adjust the throttle idle (either at the handlebar with the cables or where the throttle cable meets the bracket in between and above the cylinders. Be careful while adjusting this as the cylinders will be hot.
Also,
If the bike stalls as soon as you switch from neutral to 1st (with the clutch pulled in still and the kickstand up) it may be that an electrical safety switch that will not allow the bike to run in gear with the kickstand down has become faulty.

Yamaha kodiak 400 starts then when u put it into gear and drive after a minite it reves up and stalls
It could be a problem in the air mass or the fuel pump
Your Baja Doodlebug is not getting the proper amount of gas if it is stalling out. This could be due to a problem with your fuel lines, fuel pump, or fuel intakes.
The ac could be causing the problem. Turn the ac off, and watch the compressor clutch to see if it is not engaged. If it is then the compressor or clutch could be bogging the engine down.
i'll give you several answers . you could have water in your gas, you may need to replace your air filter, fuel filter, you may have a bad spark plug or spark plug wires, your timing could be off. i I have a 1998 Taurus and I had a stalling problem - took to shop and for about $27 he changed my hoses that was my problem, hole in hose and cracks from age of hoses.
Possibly. That was the problem with my 2003 4.0.
Idle Air control valve
This means it is a generator fuel control problem. You need to take it in to a mechanic to have it fixed as you could have stalling problems.
I believe the water causes condensation in the gas,and could cause a problem with stalling. Provided it is an older model car.
It could.It could.
check to see how dirty your air filter is. if is too dirty it could cause the problem it was the cause of mine.
