The Iowa Class battleship USS New Jersey (16" guns). New Jersey has the distinction of being history's last all gunned battleship to see combat (Vietnam).

The most powerful in history was the IJN Yamato (18" guns) & her sister the IJN Musashi (WWII): both rest on the bottom of the sea.
