Thermoplastic granules are added into a hopper, these granules fall into a Archimedes Screw and are push towards a steel dye. The hydraulic ram at the base of the screw forces the screw forwards to make sure all of the plastic has been extruded. At the end of the process you are left with a shape of a continuous cross section e.g. a pipe.

extrusion moulding
Common processing techniques for short fiber thermoset composites include compression molding, injection molding, and resin transfer molding. These methods involve heating the composite material to a specific temperature to cure the resin and mold it into the desired shape. Each technique has its own advantages and limitations depending on the specific application requirements.
It has a (usually metal) die in the shape of the moulding's profile. Clay is forced through the die producing the required shape, and is cut to manageable lengths before being fired in a kiln to harden it.
Extrusion molding involves heating plastic material and forcing it through a die to create a specific shape. The steps include feeding plastic material into a heated barrel, applying pressure to push the material through the die, cooling the material to set its shape, and cutting it into the desired length.
its a type of moulding :)
A bed moulding is a moulding in architecture of a cornice immediately below the cornea.
moulding in agriculture is where scrapped in heaped up around a small surface of a plant
The resulting moulding with incomplete filling of the plastic resin is called in practice as short moulding.
