spray silicone spray along the window guides. DO NOT SPPRAY WD40.
spray hinges with wd40
If your window is sticking going up and down I would suggest spraying WD40 or some sort of silicone to lube the rubber. Spray it in the cannal starting at the front of the window than going half way up, then the backside half way up. Try using the window a few times. == Yes, definitely. Keep the window channels lubed with WD40 to prevent this, especially on older models. Once the window motor is fried, you'd have to replace it. Prevention, prevention.
Probably a sticking door switch, give it some wd40. The switch should be where the door hinges.
You can use either WD40 or some other lubricant to make it easier to move or gently tap on the hinges with a hammer to loosen them.
If a vehicle won't start when it rains or is very wet, it is a clear sign that the ignition wire insulation is old and tired. As a test, you can spray the wires and distributor with silicone spray or WD40. These drive off the water and the engine should start. If I spray wd40 on how long do I wait before I try to start the vehicle
i had the same problem in my 1994 cheyenne and all i used was WD40 on the hinges where it is supose to fold up.
do not use wd40 on break parts..it leaves a residue....use a break clean product
If problem is caused by door switches-- Spray WD 40 liberally inside door latch--open and close door a number of times and finally spray with silicone--Common problem with these cars. The WD40 will free up latch mechanism and the silicone should keep them dry and lubricated
Spray the latch (in the door) liberally WD40 open and close the door many times and then spray with silicone
Keep squirting the WD40 and then squirt some silicone spray. Took me about 2-3 days of squirting and now all is fine.
The same thing happened to my 88 PA. I just sprayed WD40 in the window seal it works fine now
