They usually have a pin or locking knob, you either push it in or hold it in while you loosen the blade retaining nut, some you might have to remove the shield or guard, older saws might not have this feature at all, place a piece of wood on the bed of the saw and hold down so the blade digs into the wood and loosen the nut.
make sure the power is off. unplug the saw.
lock down the saw in the carry position and remove the cover that you can see covering the saw blade centre bolt.
lock the blade in posotion by putting a spanner in the teeth locking the blade onto the bed and then turn the locking nut, it is a left hand thread, the opposite way to a normal screw or bolt.
fitting is opposite to above making sure the nut is nice and tight.
That depends on what kind of worker you are. I have a small Elu mitre saw with a 9" 120 tooth carbide blade that I use for all interior trim . It makes beautiful cuts, and to preserve the sharpness of this expensive blade, I cut all heavier woods on a 12" DeWalt mitre saw.
A siding compound mitre saw is one that goes up an down on a hinge at the rear and angles sideways just like a regular mitre saw , but as well as all this, the motor and blade can slide forwards on a bar (or 2 bars) to allow wider cuts.
Hold the work tightly to avoid kickback. Make certain your hands are not anywhere the blade will touch.
A compound mitre saw can cut angles in both directions and ALSO tilt the blade to cut compound angles, This is important in cutting things like crown moulding.
The mitre saws forward and the back saws backford.
How do I change the blade on my 18v Ryobi cordless circular chain saw?
an angle grinder, nibblers, band saw, circular saw, mitre saw,jig saw, all of these need metal cutting blades as some of them can cut wood aswell depending on the blade
Because both ar in fact compound saws in that the blade can be angled 2 ways. -The sliding action is an added feature.
Unscrew the handle to relive the tension on the saw. Remove the old blade, hook the new blade over the pins on the saw and tighten the handle back up.
You loosen the holding nut and remove it, then remove the blade, exactly the way you do on any table saw.
