The standard equipment that a police officer is required to carry would be a baton, mace or OC spray, two pairs of handcuffs, a glove pouch, double magazine pouch, a taser and extra cartridges, flash light, radio , a black jack, and leatherman tool. These are the pieces that a police officer would carry besides the vest and firearm.

The only equipment they carry - is a stab-vest (optional depending on which force) radio, notepad & pen, torch, and limited first aid kit. They are not authorised to carry CS spray, batons or truncheons.
