depends if its a 5.2 318 or the 5.9 360 but its a Dodge itl pull but everyone has their opinion about dodge, i dont see many problems with them at all.
Yes.
I don't really know the answer to this question but the Dodge Magnum was a good car. I believe it was discontinued. The same thing happened to other Dodge vechicles like: Neon Stealth Intrepid Spirit Stratus Lebaron Dakota Nitro Sundance Shadow Volare Dart Avenger Charger and Challenger.
Press unlock on a remote, or turn ignition on with a good key.
Two good parts for a 1998 Dodge 1500 with a 5.9 liter engine that increase power and mileage are high performance air and fuel filters.
how dare you question the integrity of a Dodge Ram truck?? lol just kidding. yes, the Dodge Ram 1500 is an extremely reliable truck. my '06 has been through a lot in the 2 years that I've had it.
as long as the tires are proper ply and in good condition, yes you can carry 1500 lbs.
Check your Fuel Filter and Injectors. If that is good check your air intake
true duals with 24" glasspacks no cams. loud and sounds good
its behind the motor, on top of the bell housing, behind the distributor, should have two bolts, very very hard to see, you will need a mirror and a flashlight. good luck
I don't have a Ram, I drive a Dakota, but it has the same engine. On the highway, I can expect 19 MPG max on a good day. In a Ram 1500, depending on the trim level and cab style, you can expect a maximum of 19 mpg highway and probably 14 or lower city. If your truck is lifted, maybe 17 highway and 10 city.
I just read that the original LA design motors are basically the same as the 90's era magnum motors. there was a change with the Hemi motors. I have a 96 ram with a 5.9 L 360 and am currently working on getting as much info as I can, to putt an 80's era 360 from a motor home into my truck, it has a brand new motor. mine has 200 plus thousand miles and a front main seal leak. good luck with your truck.
