Midway wiped out Japan's best NAVAL airmen.
Japan just lost four aircraft carriers with some of the best carrier dive bomber, torpedo bomber, and fighter airmen in the world. They could not be replaced (in time).
In 1942, Japan's loss of over 500 of the best trained and experienced NAVAL torpedo bomber, dive bomber, and fighter airmen in the world. A loss that they would not recover from.
Very much so. The Island of Midway is a small atoll a little over 2 square miles that is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, 1,500 miles NW of Hawaii. That was the only piece of land in the entire battle and the Japanese never set foot on it. The battle was considered the most decisive battle of WWII in the Pacific as it effectively wiped out the Japanese carrier fleet (4 carriers sunk) and their best pilots and turned the war into the Allies favor. The losses were irreplaceable to the Japanese because of their limited resources and shipyards and very long training programs for pilots.
Because the IJN's best Torpedo Bomber, Dive Bomber, and Fighter Aircrewmen were killed at Midway; those particular airmen would not be able to kill or destroy allied Aircraft Carriers, Battleships, Cruisers, Destroyers, Landing Ships, Transport Ships, Supply Ships, Submarines, or any other allied vessels afloat during the future (post Midway) battles of WWII. If those particular airmen had lived and fought on...then post Midway battles would have been FAR BLOODIER than they ended up being.

Midway wiped out Japan's best NAVAL airmen.
Killed IJN's best airmen.
Their best pilots and aircrewmen were destroyed at Midway.
Their best torpedo & dive bomber pilots and aircrewmen were lost at Midway.
The cost to the Imperial Japanese Navy at the battle of Midway were 4 of her best aircraft carriers(The Akagi-the Kaga-the Hiryu and the Soryu),countless numbers of fighters-level bombers-dive bombers and torpedo bombers that attacked the U.S. Navy and Marine in and around the island of Midway.
IJN lost the best combat experienced airman/flight deck crews at Midway. Those combat experienced airmen/deck crews would not be replaced (they take too long to train). The loss of such men would adversely affect future IJN combat operations for the rest of the war (read less victories).

U.S. had a "magic" decoder, and our forces were ready and waiting when the Japanese struck at Midway on June 4, 1942. U.S. sank 4 of Japan's best carriers and destroyed some of their most skilled air groups. Midway is where Japan lost their best and experienced airmen; the Philippine Sea in 1944 (two years later) is where Japan lost the rest of their carriers and airmen.
There were two: The battle of Coral Sea stopped the IJN's advance towards Australia, and the battle of Midway stopped their advance everywhere else; because their offensive power was destroyed at Midway (offensive power=aircraft carrier pilots and deck crewmen/the planes & carriers could be replaced, but not the airmen).
The US Navy supports the current activities in the Middle East. Air craft carriers provide sortees on a regular basis. These flights patrol for opposing air craft and are prepared to support ground troops. Naval vessels also fired Cruise missiles on targets.
