Allied:

US: Franklin Roosevelt led the US into the war after pearl harbor and Dwight Eisenhower led the US at the end.

Great Britain: The Prime Minister of Great Britain was Winston Churchill. He also had the support of there colonial governors.

Russia: The De Facto leader of Russia, then the USSR was Josef Stalin. The official Head of State was Mikhail Kalinin.

There were other countries that fought against the Axis, but didn't have as big of an effect as these three.

Axis:

Nazi Germany: Hitler led Germany to and through the majority of the war. After He killed him self Goebbels, his minister of propaganda took power.

Italy: Benito Mussolini was head of state for Italy until the dissolution of his government.

Japan: The Emperor of Japan was Hirohito, and his Prime Minister was Hideki Tojo
