How did the war change people's lives?

War will provide only untold agony to people who are affected by it as people die from injuries afflicted from weapons. Wars create problems between countries not solve them. If two opposing forces opt for a change in one particular matter and does not decide to bulge no matter the reason. The only result will be conflict, conflict and more conflict as neither side gives way to the other. ___________________________________ In the past, war has changed many peoples lives. War is the most hurtful thing in mankind. War could even be speech debates. War can hurt emotionally, changing someone's feelings and looks on certain things. War can also hurt Physically and Mentally, many people come out of the U.S services messed up due to the war, and they are sworn to confidentially, so they cannot talk to their loved ones about it. War can hurt someone's mind due to torture and possible POW (Prisoner of War) charges. POW is another subject, but it ties in well with this question.
