The US Civil War (1861-1865) was not a declared war. Every war/conflict/operation since WWII has NOT been a declared war. Atomic bombs have made the declaration of war nearly impossible. Declaring war implies using nukes (fight to win).
Had the Archduke Franz Ferdinand not been assassinated, then maybe the war wouldn't have been declared.
After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor we declared war on them. Germany was an ally of Japan so they declared war on us. Italy was an ally of Germany so they went along with Germany and declared war.
The US Civil War was an un-declared war.
WWII was America's last declared war. Prior to WWII, the American Civil War (aka US Civil War) was NOT a declared war. Actually, prior to WWII, the war was called the "Cold War", but was not a declared war.
"After the war, the collaborators were charged with treason against their country." "When Benedict Arnold gave secret information to the British, he was committing treason." "Treason during wartime was often punishable by death."

Tomoya Kawakita was the last American charged and convicted of treason before Gadahn. Reference United States v. Kawakitain 1952. Kawakita was tried for war crimes -- specifically torturing American POW's during WW-II. Kawakita was American born, thus allowing the treason charged to be leveled.
If you are a citizen of the United States and you delivered, overlooked , sold or planted information that is key to the United States then you are a Traitor and will be charged with treason ... If the defendant is not a citizen and is not part of a military the United States has declared war on or had their citizenship revoked they will be charged as an enemy combatant under which you'll have no constitutional rights and be judged in a military tribunal ... A person can be charged as a terrorist for attacking the United States ...
Yes. If the question is regarding a "declared war" or not; there hasn't been a US declared war since WWII. The US Civil War (1861-1865) was not a declared war either.
Siberia is a region of Russia, not a country. Australia has never declared war on, or been at war with either the USSR or Russia.
there have been
Means the same thing. Officially the American Civil War was not a war according to those that believe only "a declared war" is a real war. Since the US Civil War was not a "declared war", its officially designated as the "War of the Rebellion" and/or "the war between the states." By this definition, no wars have been fought since WWII; America's last declared war. And don't forget, the US Civil War wasn't a war either! (According to those "not a declared war" people). To answer your question, the Vietnam War has always been called both, even during the 1960s.
There has never been a World War 3.

Yes, many people thought that Jefferson Davis ought to have been hanged for treason.
