Zero gravity increases cell mitosis because when in zero gravity, the cells that sense gravity in the root cap can't send the right signals to the cells, which normally inhibit growth in the cells that are further away from the root cap.

So because the cells don't get the signals from the root cap, they can divide and develop secondary roots, which then can lead to a greater number of cells in mitosis.

Is there such a thing a zero gravity?

No. Gravity is a force with unlimited reach. Gravitys grip-force decreases with an increase in the distance between bodies. In a nutshell, there is no zero gravity, but there is very close to zero gravity. In the deep space between and at extreme distances from any galaxies we find what is effectively zero gravity.

How much zero gravity is there in space?

Zero! that's why it is called zero gravity!

Which is more like sky zone or zero gravity?

zero gravity

Why velocity is non zero when ball dropped to the ground?

When a ball is dropped, it starts with an initial velocity of zero. However, as it falls towards the ground, it accelerates due to gravity, causing its velocity to increase. Therefore, the velocity of the ball is non-zero as it falls towards the ground.

When did you say that the zero gravity is no gravity?

Depends on the atmosphere. location, place, space and time of zero gravity

Is there zero gravity at the center of the earth?

Yes; the gravity from different sides should cancel, for a net result of zero gravity.

Where is the closest zero gravity place?

There is no "zero gravity" place. Gravity permeates all the universe. Astronauts in orbit are often said to be in zero gravity but they are, in reality, on a position where their orbital velocity balances the attraction of the Earth.

What do scientist call when there is no gravity?

I THINK it is Zero-Gravity

How is the initial velocity zero but the acceleration is not?

Going back to definitions, Velocity is change of distance with time; and acceleration is change in velocity with time. Initially, the velocity is zero, as is the acceleration, BUT the Force of Gravity attracts the falling mass, and causes velocity to appear. But the continued application of the Force of Gravity causes the velocity to increase. And as we know, increase in velocity is acceleration. [space for QED]
