a fire paramedic earns $43,170 per year (national median)
21$ an hour
I make 7.75/hr working at the front desk in Missouri.
50000 a yr
I'm not exactly sure how much they win but I do know that they make more money then a child phsycolohist.
It really depends on exactly where you work as a paramedic. I know that in the small Newfoundland town I live in Paramedics make 12$ a hour. But in bigger places such as Ontario paramedics may make $70,000+ per year. But I'm sure a paramedic is a very rewarding, exciting career. If I was more courageous and interested in this exciting field I would go for it. Afterall you can make good money with it, and it is not all about money.
Primary Care Paramedic: Full Time will make $60 000 - $75 000 a year with all the benefits and such. An Advanced Care Paramedic: will be making from $80 000 - $90 000 yearly. I know there is none in Peel Region, but a Critical Care Paramedic (There are only 45 of them in Ontario) will be making $100 000 or more a year Either way you are making a great stable salary, now take into consideration how much more will be earned with over time and the more experience you acquire. But don't get into this profession for the money, it's about helping people!
I would say about 80,000 year. If they are a paramedic with all of the O.T. it can be $150,000.
$5000
I am a Paramedic, Full-Time, in NC. I make as low as 10.00per/hr at a part-time job, and upwards of 26.50hr as a Paramedic on a Mobile intensive care unit. It is Safe to say that a Paramedic starts out at about 34,000 a year, and goes up based on years of experience, and as always.. who you know :) hope it helps
