You mean Trauma surgeon right? Cause i don't think there's something called an emergency surgeon. 4 years-college 4 years-med school 1 yr-intern (if you pass the test) 5-7 yrs (residency) (it's more if you want a specialty like trauma surgery) So it should be about 14-16 years, but sometimes it's more.
