Roentgen rays are the same as X-rays, after the person who discovered them. In German they still call them "Roentgenstrahlen".

A person who takes x-rays is called a radiologic technologist or a radiographer. They are trained professionals who operate imaging equipment to produce x-ray images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
X-rays use what are called X-rays...that was a given but MRIs use magnetic pulses instead of the X-rays. The difference is that the X-rays don't pass through bone (so you see the bone) and the magnetic pulses penetrate the entire flesh but bounce off every cell. This shows what the inside of the person looks like.
We call most of them heat, light, and x-rays.
