Apollo College's comprehensive program prepares students to serve as Dental Assistants, Front Office Receptionists or Dental Office Managers. There is a continuing need for fully trained dental professionals, and we help graduates pursue the many opportunities available to them. Our program is designed to give students a complete education in the clinical, laboratory and administrative duties of Dental Assistants and all its related functions. Students are taught the procedures involved with chair-side assistance to dentists, as well as oral hygiene, office techniques and other skills. Upon completion of all training, students perform an externship in a dentist's office or other facility - the start of a fulfilling profession with a rewarding future.

The duties of every front office person is to make sure that the customers are greeted with kind and respect. They must answer phones, maintain the neatness and decorum of the area, and help anyone that comes to their door.
A receptionist fulfills support duties in an office setting. Usually receptionists perform their duties in a waiting area such as a lobby or front office. Basic duties include greeting visitors and answering phones.
A back office job is a job that is done in an office but not up front. You do not have to be the receptions or answer the phone. You are assigned other duties.
The morning desk clerk usually is responsible for checking people out of the hotel or motel before 11. They also handle customer service issues that come up during the time they are on duty. They may take reservations on the phone as well.
The duties and responsibilities of the front office manager are great at a hospital. They often include the intake and checkout of the patient. Many times it will include gathering insurance and billing information. Front office managers will also make sure that the proper charts are pulled and the correct procedures are followed.
