There is little to no scientific data to support homeopathic medicine works in a blind experiment. Some people may derive benefit through the well documented placebo effect, but homeopathic medicine should never be used in place of conventional medical methods.

Well, that appears to be a matter of opinion. Personally, I like to listen to the side that has nothing to gain from lying to me. In this case; that would be the holistic community. The truth seems to be that some do, and some don't. Don't be too afraid to try one, and see if it works for you. (Don't get too crazy though, and start drinking your own urine!)

Yes, Homeopathic medicine can be used by most people, but as there are many different homeopathic medicines available, and as each person responds to illness in a different way, take care in matching your symptoms to a particular homeopathic medicine and ensure that you carefully follows the instruction for taking it.

The present day medical science at times appear bias towards Allopathy. The basic question that arises in Homeopathy is how can diluted contents as used in Homeopathy work? But we forget to realize that human system or system of living beings is far too sensitive to react only to higher conc. as used in alopathy. E.g. extremely low traces of content are recognized by the body and it reacts to them such as small traces of LPG (domestic) gas can be traced by the human system and the body reacts to its odor.

Insects and such living beings and therefore bacterias work on traces of the contents e.g. ants can find the very small traces of sugar and reach the object. If we keep fresh water in a copper vessel for just about 6 hours we can make out the difference in taste of water; whereas the copper content added in the water due to vessel is not even one copper part in a trillion part of water.

The body needs a trigger for glands to act and not necessarily the action itself.

  • In my opinion, homoeopaths claim that: Homoeopathic medicine when taken into the body sensed through the nerve endings and stimulates the internal mechanism and there by the body gets the intended result.
  • In my opinion, it has been proven via empirical study's and through logic that homoeopathy is in every way nothing more than a placebo. In my opinion, homoeopathy is called Alternative Medicine because it has been proved not to work."Take physics and bin it. Water has memory and while its memory of a long lost drop of onion juice seems infinite it somehow forgets all the poo its had in it." Also, in my opinion, science is not a matter of opinion.

Introduction To Homeopathy?

Homeopathic remedies are showing up alongside more traditional medication in pharmacies and grocery stores, especially as a safe way to provide some kind of treatment to people who can’t take standard medication. You can find homeopathic preparations for sale covering most of the same problems traditional medication can help, and an actual homeopathic practitioner can mix remedies for just about anything you can imagine. Understanding homeopathy can help you decide whether this style of treatment is right for you.How Homeopathy WorksHomeopathy operates under the assumption that a wide variety of different substances can be used in incredibly tiny amounts to tailor a cure for a specific problems. A homeopathic cure is supposed to be specifically tailored to an individual’s issue using a mixture of ingredients in amounts so tiny that most would consider them absent. In many homeopathic remedies, a selection of ingredients may diluted so much that only one molecule of each item is supposed to be present. Homeopathic practitioners believe that careful mixing of exact ingredients makes it possible for the smallest possible amount of each item to create the desired effect.Personally Tailored HomeopathyHomeopathy is designed to allow a practitioner to prepare a cure that will specifically hep the person requesting it. A properly mixed homeopathic remedy is supposed to take into account as many different individualized factors as possible in order to provide the exact relief a person needs. Like most other forms of natural medicine, homeopathy has not been proven in a scientific setting to work any better than a placebo. However, if you are interested in trying a homeopathic cure going to an actual practitioner is the best way to evaluate whether it will work well for you.Mass Produced Homeopathic RemediesBecause of the way homeopathy is designed to work, the mass produced remedies you find in pharmacies and grocery stores may not be effective for everyone. A mass produced remedy works by trying to give people the ingredients most likely to help the majority of people. The dilutions used to produce most mass produced homeopathic cures are so tiny that taking a homeopathic remedy is as safe as taking a sugar pill.

Can a homeopathic remedy show a false positive in a drug screening?

It's extremely unlikely, because of how homeopathy works (or, more accurately, doesn't work). Homeopathic remedies (note that I am distinguishing them from "naturopathic" remedies, which in some cases can and do work) are made by taking an extract from ... something. It doesn't really matter what it is, because whatever it is is then diluted to the point that it may be statistically unlikely that even a single molecule of the original substance remains. Homeopathic "remedies" give concentrations like "10C". This means that the starting material was diluted by a factor of 100, and then a sample of that was taken and diluted by a factor of 100, and this was repeated 10 times for a final concentration of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 times less than was in the original sample. Couple that with the homeopathic belief that it works better the more dilute it is (many homeopathic remedies start off with things that are poisonous, so this belief is really a good thing ... it keeps homeopathy from actually killing people outright), and you should see why it's not likely that what is effectively sugar pills or water is going to cause a false positive for anything. Even if the starting material was pure whatever drug is being tested for, it's unlikely that a homeopathic mixture with such a dilution factor would even register on the test, and even less likely than that if it was some other compound.

How to Use Homeopathic Remedies for Some Common Ailments?

Long before conventional medicines were invented, there was homeopathic medicine. People have been using homeopathic remedies since time began. The Inca people made tea out of the bark of the Tabebuia Avellanedae Tree and used it for ailments such as arthritis and fever. People in the Middle Ages used Quaker Bottoms from the Vomica Tree to aid with digestive problems and headaches. Native Americans used skunk cabbage for asthma, leaves of the creosote bush for bronchitis and yellow spine thistle blossoms for treating burns. Many people still prefer homeopathic remedies when possible. But how do we know what homeopathic remedies to use? There has been a tremendous comeback to homeopathic medicine. Because of this, many books have been written, stores have started offering homeopathic solutions and scores of online sites have started selling homeopathic products. There are even doctors who specialize in homeopathic treatments. With a little research, you too can try some homeopathic remedies. There is no reason to use prescription drugs or over-the-counter medicine at the first sign of discomfort. Many ailments do great with the use of homeopathic remedies. There is no cure for the common cold – that is a fact. But that does not mean that there should be no comfort for the common cold. One of the main complaints of people with a cold is a tickly throat. Those throat drops only work as long as you have one in your mouth. Gargling, on the other hand, helps the tickle go away for a while. Gargle with a tea that has tannin in it; the tannin tightens membranes and helps ease the tickle. Another solution is to sprinkle sugar on a half of a beet. Every time juice is produced, take a teaspoonful. The taste is sweet, it is non-addictive and throats are calmed.Other homeopathic remedies include hot liquid for congestion, cranberry juice for urinary tract infections, adding a can of evaporated milk into baths to ease itchiness, charcoal for poison ivy, chamomile tea for anxiety and ginger tea for stomach ailments. There are always several choices for the same ailments but with a little experimenting you will find the one that works for you.
