I don't really understand the question, but here goes. Only 1% of the energy used is given off as xrays. The rest is given off as heat. That 1% then travels through the body to the xray film plate or IR plate. The amount of radiation the patient receives is less than if he were to walk out to his car in the parking lot on a sunny day. It is not that much.
