A 12 year old should have 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night. Sleeping to little or to much is unhealthy, especially when you are maturing.
it depends on your goals. If your goals requires you to sleep 3 hours out of the day. then just get some deep sleep in for 3 hours and that will be sufficient. etc.
