If a girl around ten is having a problem sleeping, give her some warm milk of sing her a song. If this doent work, ask her if there is anything wrong. If so talk to her about it and this might clam her down. If not ask a doctor if your daughter is having her period.
Ummmm.........Some kids are just afraid of the dark, and so are some adults. In fact, most people just do not like sleeping all alone. Humans have natural instincts that make us afraid of the dark. It is not a mental problem or a freaking period issue (how stupid of someone to say that), but an instinctual reaction. People used to all sleep together up until the past 100 years.
Now that being said, I gave my daughter a TV, leave her door open, and we start bedtime extra early so she gets enough time to relax and fall asleep. I also let her sleep with me anytime she is scared. She is almost 10, and super smart and sweet. She is independent in all other areas, and it is not really an issue because we do not make it out to be one.

Since you are still growing, a 12 year old girl should get 9-10 hours of sleep a night.
a lot of sleep like 10 hours
about 8 to 10 hours of sleep
If the 10 year old need's alot of sleep, then it would be 8:30. That's their average bedtime.
About 10 hours
alot
around about 10 hours.
It is very important for the physical and mental health of a child to get enough sleep. A five year old should get 10 to 11 hours of sleep.
A child at the age of 10 should get up to nine hours sleep
around 10 hours sleep x
10-11 hours every night are the optimum hours of sleep an eight-year-old should get.
