Actually, not at all, depending on how you handle it. Mind over matter.
But typically, the injection itself feels like a toothpick poking your skin, and it really doesn't hurt. Just a quick pinch.
The next day or two, you may have a small headache and some stiffness in your arm, but as along as you ease it, it shouldn't be a problem.
Definitly not. Biting your tongue hurts like H3ll.
A shot is far more scary than actually painfull. If you are referring to an injection that is. If you mean getting shot with a gun, I'd go for biting my tongue instead. I have been told by though and strong men that being shot by a gun hurts very, very much. And they wouldn't use those terms lightly.
The thought of it hurts more than the actual shot. They will use a swab to put something on your gum to numb it before the actual shot. It is uncomfortable but not all that bad. For me the most uncomfortable is when they have to work on your front teeth but, even that, doesn't hurt as bad as the thought of it.
no loosen your arm shots dont hurt
The Gardasil shot hurts worse than almost any other shot I can think of. I got all three rounds of Gardasil last year. I got three other shots at the time of the first Gardasil (flu shot, tetanus shot, and meningitis), and the first Gardasil hurt worse than any of them. The second shot hurt worse than the first one, and the third one hurt worse than the second and the first one. It is worth it though, cancer is even worse. If you are getting the Gardasil shots, ask the nurse or doctor to inject a local anesthesia before the actual vaccine so that it doesn't hurt as bad.
No it does not hurt getting a tooth pulled because the dentist will numb your gums. The shot they use to numb you up will hurt a little bit.
only for a second =)
Being shot with an AK assault rifle causes extreme pain.
Yes. Initially, shock and adrenaline may prevent the message from getting to the brain, but it does hurt!
No they do not dont be scared because you don't even feel it. I was terrified when I was getting it but the shot itself does not hurt.
Yes. It depends on your level of pain, but it hurts.
A good nurse will be able to give you a shot without pain or an ice pack.
Generally, no. I have had tons of fillings, and none of them have hurt after the fact. Usually no, unless the fillings are really large, then they can.
because the membrane that surrounds the bone tightly adheres to the tissue and when the anesthesia is dispensed it causes a separation between the two layers which results in pain.
The pain from the needle entering the skin depends on the location of the shot, the skill of the doctor/nurse, and the gauge of the needle.
