Does Avemar really work

I am a physician who treats patients with cancer and I am interested in finding something that my patients can take on their own for cancer. The problem with most of the supplements for cancer is there is poor or little research behind them. Avemar has some of the most comprehensive research done on it that I have ever seen and the results in these studies are very good. The explanation of what it does and how it works is well explained and the same cutting edge thinking that the Biotech companies are using to develop new drugs for cancer. The company that distributes it provides a nice printed research package for doctors to look at and the research is online at avemarresearch.com I believe (if the spelling is off I apologize). Avemar does work in my opinion. I have had good results with melanoma patients by seeing an increase in the amount of time between lesions. It is hard to see the results in other types of cancers I use if for because the patients are undergoing other therapies. I get frustrated when people ask me about other supplements for cancer because there is no real research or rationale for their pathway of action. For example, Graviola has some potential for use with cancer, but I found out that the active constituent in it gets destroyed in making it into a supplement and that is why it works in the test tube and not in the body. That makes me sad when people buy it with hope of it helping them but do not know the whole story. I asked the people who make avemar and they told me they manufacture it so the active constituent is still intact after manufacture. Does avemar work? I say yes and the research says so as well. I was so impressed that I started taking it after I read through the research to prevent cancer.
