It's not like there is a line of people waiting for an EKG or a special clinic you would go to to have one. A nurse might give one in a day or maybe none for several days or weeks. If you're going to be a Registered Nurse working in an emergency room or in a doctor's office, then you should know how to give an EKG. If not, then it would be a waste of time.
