Normally an AC unit does not have a vacuum pump in it. It does have a compressor - but the vac pump is a tool for installation. Once you have an air tight network of pipes connecting the indoor and the outdoor units you want to get all the moisture and air out of the system. (The under lieing principles apply to automotive AC as well)
The method is to use the vacuum pump to suck the contents out - then refill with inert nitrogen, and rinse and repeat several times to effectively flush any particles of moisture or air out of the system.
The tool which allows you to do this is a manifold gauge, it's critical when installing AC systems to remove all air and moisture from the pipes and not allowing any to get back in when you disconnect the schreader valve, so you have to disconnect after the refrigerant has been released into the pipework. If the refrigerant is R410a then when standing it could be at 10 bar pressure, so the best practice is to connect on the low pressure side of the system then run the system and disconnect with it running - so the pressure on the schreader is only about 7 bar.
Installing split air conditioning systems should only be done by a trained and competent person though. In the UK there are specific rules about which qualifications are required to do this.
The process of pumping down a heat pump is quite simple. First you should switch the unit into air conditioning and put your compound gauge on the suction line. Make sure the unit is running. Then valve off the discharge line and watch your gauge pressure. When it pulls itself down into a vacuum the heat pump is pumped down within itself. Make sure to valve off the suction line to make sure no refrigerant is released back into the air handling unit. You should now be able to lay some wet rags on the valves to protect them if you desire to sweat the unit away from the line set.
A vacuum's quality is indicated by how little material is within it. The quality is usually measured in gas pressure (as torrs). A torr is a historical unit, although still used for vacuum quality. The Si unit is the Pascal.

A vacuum pump is any device which does work to transfer air from one volume to another volume, and thereby reducing the pressure of the first volume. There are several different types of vacuum pumps available, each operating over different pressure ranges.
Cold air can carry less humidity than warm air so when the AC unit is cooling air the excess water falls out as condensation.
The name of the AC hose for a BMW 323i is the AC vacuum hose. The hose can also be called the AC pump pressure hose.
Pulling a vacuum on an ac system requires a vacuum pump or venturi pump with the correct type connector. The pump is connected to the low side ac port, and the vacuum could take an hour to pull depending on the pump size.
Yes
The low pressure (vacuum) side.
The AC vacuum control valve on a 2005 Chevy Classic is located on top of the AC pump. Look for a small pipe that is shaped like an "L", that plugs into the AC pump.
Your location matters. If in Florida heat pump in more northern climes furnace & ac.
tell me the procedure of pump out in split unit HVAC
yes but id u dont want to waste the engery open the door
need to change condensing units. from cooling only to heat pump
A Honda AC unit is no different than other automakers units. You put an "Evacuation Pump" on the system and pull it down. A cheap pump will run you about $100.00 (US Dollars) and a good one will be upwards of $500.00. A search on google will provide you links, but it maybe cheaper to have a local shop do it for you (can charge the system as well).
You'll need a vacuum pump that is used by AC service technicians.
