Answer 1: Every one who receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will go to Heaven, not just the 144000 mentioned in the book of Revelation.

The Holy Bible reads, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Also It reads "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" and "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Also The Bible reads, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved", and you're a "whosoever" right? Of course you are; all of us are.

actually, its no ones choice whether you are going to heaven or not. Its all up to God.

Answer 2:

These are the words of the invoked one, that Christians commonly name 'God,' thus his decision is to preserve the corporeal lives of 144,000 people, and to kill off the rest of the lot of man on this planet.

REVELATIONS 7

"And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundreth and fourty and foure thousand, of all the tribes of the children of Israel." - 1611 King James Bible

" And all the Angels stood round about the Throne, and about the Elders, and the foure beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glorie, and wisedome, and thankesgiuing, and honour, & power, and might be vnto our God for euer & euer, Amen. 13And one of the Elders answered, saying vnto mee, What are these which are arayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said vnto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and haue washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lambe."

-1611 King James Bible

Essentially, of the 144,000 who will be saved will be Jews and Jewesses- The rest of the lot of mankind here on Earth will perish (only physically in a Gnostic perspective).

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of ______ is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (~ the Bible)

John is stating that sinners will die in a corporeal fashion, however each person's spirit is given eternal life through following the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

I suppose one who wishes to subscribe, follow and/or preach the words of the god known as "God," might also want to know what the foure beasts are that sit in the throne of their invoked one (god: see proto-indo-european). One may want to ask why a beast is permitted to reside within the abode of a benevolent deity- though the word god does not really mean deity in the authentic fashion of the two words. Are these foure beasts called foure (descriptive) beasts because they have four digits on hand and foot, or are there simply four (numerical) beasts whom reside within the throne of the capital 'G' god?

Also note that there is some controversy regarding the means by which Jesus provides everlasting life. Some believe that they attain it through eating an effigy of him, while others believe they attain it through studying and seeking him.

Nonetheless, the question was "WHY will only 144000 Christians (omitted) go to heaven?"

The book of Revelations does not really state that the 144000 are going to heaven, it states that they are leaving this planet for a new Earth. Also, Revelations does not state that Christians are going to be taken up and sealed; it actually states that the Jews and Jewesses are going to leave this world prior to its destruction by fire.

Please note that I cited the King James Bible 1611CE as it is more accurate than many of the bibles that private organizations, known as religions and/or denominations, ordain to be divinely inspired, while blatantly disregarding the fact that 14 books were removed in the late 1800's from the KJB 1611, and thereby propagated into a multitude of variations. Each with their own specialized type of wording.

Biblical Viewpoint:

It simply never says this group or any group will go to heaven. On the contrary, the New Heaven will come to the New Earth and the Father and the Son will reign their newly begotten spiritual children from the New Jerusalem (please read Revelation 21 in its entirety for clarification). Only Jesus, who came from Heaven was worthy enough to go back to it (see John 3:13).

Concerning the 144,000 of Revelation 7 which are mentioned again in Revelation 14, reading both chapters for oneself, it becomes clear that these spiritual "firstfruits" will have repented and been converted before the beginning of the Day of the Lord. They are described as being redeemed and without fault. They are represented as having a relationship both with God the Father and Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God. Revelation 7:4 tells us they are 'Sealed.' This sealing has to do with receiving God's Holy Spirit so one may become spiritually converted:

Ephesians 1:13-14New International Version (NIV) 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory.

Revelation 14:1-5New International Version (NIV)

The Lamb and the 144,000

14 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. 5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

Did the people in the old testament go to heaven when they diedand without son of god?

If they denied there was a son of God, then they were Jewish and they probably thought they would go to heaven. Christians think otherwise, as they think that Jesus was the Son of God. as a Christian perspective, No. as a Jewish perspective, Possibly, as i am not Jewish and i have no idea what they would say

Who was the first person to go to heaven?

Adam and Eve were the first people to go to Heaven.

Why Christians believe that people go to Heaven or Hell?

The Bible (the holy word of God that Christians follow) speaks many times about heaven and hell. Jesus mentions heaven and hell several times in the new testament and prophets of God mention heaven and hell all througout the old testament. Christians believe that people go to heaven and hell because this is what the Bible clearly teaches and the Bible is the infallible word of God.Answer:I turned them down and told them why. "The church has been lying to us," I said. "They say that all good people will go to heaven. But I have read the Bible, and I am convinced that only 144,000 persons will go to heaven. Other righteous people will live on a paradise earth."-Matthew 5:5; Revelation 14:1, 3. True Christians don't believe that hell is real. Our former church members had prophesied that if we became Witnesses, we would die. That was almost 30 years ago. Even if I die now, would it be because I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses? If my wife dies now, can anyone say that it was because she became one of Jehovah's Witnesses?I have struggled to show my 17 children the way of the truth. Though many of them were adults by the time I became a Witness, I encouraged them to study the Bible and took them to meetings and conventions. It is my joy to have five of them serving Jehovah with me. One serves alongside me as an elder in the congregation. Another is a ministerial servant in a nearby congregation. Two of my children serve as regular pioneers. When I look back, I marvel at Jehovah's undeserved kindness in helping me become his servant. How true are Jesus' words: "No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him"!-John 6:

Is a paradise really going to come soon?

Yes it is. Armageddon is going to come and kill all the bad people on the earth and the 144000 that have been picked will go up in heaven, but the rest will stay down on a beautiful paradise earth. We don't know when its going to come but we can tell by all the bad people and things that are on the earth right now that it will happen very soon, all of this is prophesied in the Bible.

Is it fair if the non-Christian does good but does not go to heaven?

The non-Christian sees this as entirely fair, because he believes that the Christian heaven does not even exist. Not only do non-Christians not go to heaven when they die, but Christians do not either.

Do only Christians go to heaven according to Catholicism?

I assume you mean "Heaven". A good friend of mine is a priest. Here's the way he answers the question: When you get to Heaven if you look around and decide that you don't like who else is there, there is always another place you can go!

Will humans go extinct in 3000?

Doubtful. If anything, and it probably won't be in 3000, Jesus, like the real Jesus, will come back, take the Christians to heaven, destroy satan and those left on earth, and then Christians go to heaven to stay, non-Christians go to hell to stay.

What is necessary to become a Christian?

Christians believe the Bible teaches that there is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Only believers in Jesus will go to heaven. From a Christian point of view, yes it is necessary.

Do you go to heaven we you die?

For Christians you go to heaven by believing the gospel, and knowing that Jesus died for us. Learn his word in the Bible. When you dont do that stuff and really believe in him and ask him to be your savior you wont go to heaven.

Why don't assemsbly of god believe catholics are christians?

Becaus Catholics aren't Christians. Catholics believe that you have to go through the High Priest to talk to God, they believe that you'll go to purgetory if you do something wrong you didn't confess, and they pray to the saints. Christians, on the other hand, don't believe they need to go through someone else to talk to God (Jesus took care of the sepparation), they believe that if you rely on Jesus to get to heaven then you will go to heaven (no pergetory), and they only pray to God because the saints are only human.

Can you see God when you die?

There is no evidence for heaven, so it depends on faith. Christians believe you will go to heaven and see God. Atheists believe there is no heaven and no God.

Do Christians and Muslims agree that Jews go to Hell?

jews are made to live in heaven.
