Jesus is the "Son of Man".

John 1:14 says "...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." (as a son of man)

John 3:14+15 says: "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." KJV (John 3:16)(John 17:3) Jesus is God's means of salvation for the human race.

Matthew 12:40 tells us "....for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will theSon of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (NASB) Jesus was in the grave for three days.

Matthew 24:36-38 likens Noahs' Day to the day of the Son of Man. At the time of Noah's flood , the wicked".... did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Manbe." (NASB)(2 Thessalonians 1:7) The Bible tells us that many, just like in Noah's Day, will not listen to God's message, and will be destroyed when Jesus returns in Kingdom power. (Matthew 7:13+14, 21-23)(2 Thessalonians 1:6-8)
