Over Analyzing occurs when the critical thinker part of you forgets to switch off, perhaps through stress at work or at home or through an illness such as depression. Instead of the positive critical thinker skill being at the fore front of your mind, this is replaced by the negative over analyzer who cannot let go of the need to look at everything from every angle before making a decision.
