∙ 11y agoThe only indirect indication in The Bible of how old Jesus was is in John 8:57, "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?"

There is a verse in Luke 3:23 "And Jesus himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli" That refers to the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, that from the gospel accounts seem to have lasted 3 years, which means Jesus was about thirty three years old at the time of his crucifixion, give or take a few years.

The Bible doesn't exactly say that the devil was there during Jesus' death. However, where you find evil and evil men, you also find the devil.
You just know they had to have done something bad enough that got them crucified...But it doesn't say their names or where they're from. I believe the good thief was named "Dismas". I don't think it's in the bible but for some reason the name Dismas was given.

Somethings Jesus Christ said were in contradiction to what the Pharisees believed. He showed them the truth and they didn't want to hear it. And Jesus didn't 'get' crucified, He allowed Himself to be crucified out of love for us and obedience to His Father.
I would say that it was God who directed Mary Magdalene to the cross when Jesus was crucified, as he directed the disciples. This is according to Philippians 2.13. "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure."

AnswerThe Bible tells us almost nothing about the two who were crucified with Jesus. John Shelby Spong (Jesus for the NonReligious) tells us that the story purporting to describe the crucifixion of Jesus has been built on narratives from Hebrew scripture, crafted to identify Jesus with messianic images familiar to the readers of the Hebrew scriptures, and designed for liturgical use. He says that there were no thieves crucified with Jesus, penitent or otherwise. So, there is legitimate doubt as to whether there really were two thieves. Either way, we can not say what their family background was.
