Megan Meier had been bullied most of her life and she never had any real friends. Her mum let her set up a myspace page because it might help with her self-esteem and confidence. One day she met a 16 year old guy by the name of Josh Evans and they started talking. He said that her photos were so pretty and that she was so cute and nice. They became friends and talked all the time, until one day he made a mean comment to her. (the comment was somewhere along the lines of- "the world would be better without you, have a sh***y rest of your life) There were also a lot of bulletins and surveys posted about her that said things like- "Megan Meier is a sl*t" She was so distraught so she commited suicide by hanging herself inside her closet. She was pronounced dead the day after.
Married girls are subject to the same kinds of problems which cause various other types of people to commit suicide; there is no unique problem associated with this particular demographic. We might hypothesize that married girls are driven to suicide by their cruel husbands, but the more likely outcome of an unhappy marriage is divorce, not suicide. Problems which can lead to suicide include clinical depression or bipolar disorder, terminal illness, or a profound sense of failure and hopelessness.
If they attempt it and dont actually do it they might just be seeking attention or they are just afraid to either way get them help immediately Answer also: Although the reasons why people commit suicide vary, certain events in life commonly trigger suicide. It is not uncommon for young ones to give in to despair and commit suicide to do so even over matters that seem trivial to others. When they feel hurt and cannot do anything about it, youths may view their own death as a means of getting back at the person who hurt them. A recent survey in Britain indicated that when children are subjected to severe bullying, they are nearly seven times as likely to attempt suicide. The emotional pain that these children suffer are real. Others may try to take their life when they get into trouble at school or with the law, suffer the end of a romance, get a bad report card, experience stress over exams, or become weighed down by worries about the future. Among high-achieving adolescents who may tend to be perfectionists, a setback or a failure-be it actual or imaginary-may bring on a suicide attempt. There are two common paths for suicide, one is a result of problems often causing depression and hopelessness, the other, is a call for help when a helpless, even victimized feeling. In the second case, the person needs help from a situation and deep down realizes suicide is not the only answer. In the first case, it can depend upon how long the situation has existed and even intervention and help may be a temporary stay unless the root problems are dealt with. In both of these paths, there are usually statements or noticaeable signs that help uis needed. Another path is when someone is more spontaneous, dwelling for a short time on an issue that can lead to aggressive behavior to themselves and to others. This path is not typically talked about and the signs may not be obvious to anyone.
By the early 1990s only two states still listed suicide as a crime, and these have since been amended. As of 2011, suicide is not listed as criminal anywhere in the USA but is still considered a common law crime for purposes of awarding monetary damages by the court in certain cases. Actually, it is a very obscure issue, and of unknown legality. There are some sources stating it is illegal, however, I have yet to find a meritable source saying so. However, I have found well-known sources stating suicide is not illegal in the US. Attempted suicide is illegal in all 50 states,,however suicide is completely legal in all 50 states no-one in the history of the USA legal system has been convicted of suicide because you can not arrest, prosecute, charge or imprison a dead person for a crime. Only failed suicide attempts can be prosecuted under the law.
