The book of Proverbs has several references to friendship...
(Proverbs 18:24) . . .There exist companions disposed to break one another to pieces, but there exists a friend sticking closer than a brother.
(Proverbs 17:17) A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress.
(Proverbs 27:9) Oil and incense are what make the heart rejoice, also the sweetness of one's companion due to the counsel of the soul.
A DIFFERENT kind of friendship is mentioned in the Greek scriptures...
(James 4:4) . . .do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God. . .
(John 15:11-14)And Jesus said: "...This is my commandment, that YOU love one another just as I have loved YOU. No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul in behalf of his friends. 14 YOU are my friendsif YOU do what I am commanding YOU.

In the book of Numbers gets it name fom chapter 1 verse 26 tells us that all the people were numbered.
In 1 Samuel chapter 16 it tells of the annointing of David. Verse 12 describes David as being ruddy which is redheaded.
