∙ 12y agoThe Roman numeral XV represents the number 15. In Roman numerals, "X" stands for 10 and "V" stands for 5. Adding them together gives you 15.
XVI represents the number sixteen, in Roman numerals.
Adding them together in sequence - you get 10+100+100+100+10+100+1+5=426 426 in roman numerals is CDXXVI
XXVII is the number 27 in roman numerical. XX is 20 and adding XVII is 7.
LXIX is the number 69 in roman numerals. L is 50, X is 10 and IX is 9, adding them would lead to 69.
I would add 1999 and 51 together, getting 2050, and convert that to Roman numerals (MML) and hope that was one of the two possible methods.
