I assume you mean it has no mint MARK. All coins "have a mint" in the sense that they're all made in mints.

Remember, the P mint mark didn't appear on Philadelphia dimes struck before 1980 so your 1972 dime is perfectly normal. That means it's only worth a dime. You should be able to find others in your pocket change from time to time.
