Isaiah 57:1-2 in the New Living Translation: "The righteous pass away. The godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the Godly who die will rest in peace." This verse has been a comfort to us and our family since my wife Cathie is very sick with several illnesses and we were told the other day that she could die within six months to a year. The medical field has spoken, now we must wait for what God has to say about it. Since it has helped us so much, I thought it might help others who have gone through a death in the family etc.
